Davids House

Davids House is a purpose built home catering for the needs of 30 frail elderly clients. The Home is located in a quiet residential area of Harrow. The ground floor offers 15 beds for elderly residential clients with frailty and the first floor, which has recently been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard, comprises of 15 beds for elderly clients with dementia. The new facilities include a luxurious sitting room, dining room, toilet, kitchenette and activities room.

The Home opened in 1988 to enable people from our multi � cultural and socially diverse town to continue living as independently as possible by receiving care and support consistent with their capacities and disabilities.

All 30 fully furnished bedrooms offer en suite facilities and is spread over two floors served by a lift. All rooms are single occupancy for either sex. Specialist bath and shower facilities are available on each floor. There is level access around the Home, making it suitable for disabled people.

There are two lounges on each floor with dining areas that provide a pleasant environment in which to relax, as does the two bright and spacious conservatories which overlooks the gardens.

Each room is linked to the staff call system and all external doors are controlled by an alarm making the Home secure.

The care home is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection as a specialist residential care home to cater for elderly mentally frail residents (dementia care).
